Blessings!

We did it!   We filmed all of our scenes for our big music video!  The first part of the day was spent at different locations here in Inman...at our barn, the garden, in the field, by the tractor.... filming all of the video needed to put the project together!  The kids did an awesome job not only with their individual parts, but also with being patient and mature while waiting to perform.  They snacked under the oak tree and had a wonderful day in the sun!  The audio has been compiled, so I will add the video and post it as soon as I can!

In art class, the group worked on an encaustic painting.  They first sketched out a picture.  Then, they used melted crayon to fill it in.  While the kids worked, Mr. Richard once again came to visit, spreading happiness... and donuts!  These kids (and I) have been so blessed by not just the teachers this year, but from their families, our neighbors, and the community.  We took time today to talk about "paying it forward".  Hopefully, they will remember the love, the little acts of kindness, and the feeling of connection that they have had here... and pay it forward!
